  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Additional crushed cookies for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Gently fold in the crushed cookies.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the donuts spring back when touched. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the filling by whipping the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Once the donuts have cooled, use a piping bag to fill each donut with the whipped cream mixture.
  • Top with additional crushed cookies for a delightful finish.
