Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out puff pastry to 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Brush melted butter over the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture and brown sugar over the buttered pastry.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly into a log and pinch the ends to seal.
  6. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased muffin tin.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
