- 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out puff pastry to 1/8 inch thick.
- Mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Brush melted butter over the pastry.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture and brown sugar over the buttered pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log and pinch the ends to seal.
- Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased muffin tin.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- For best results, ensure puff pastry is fully thawed before using.
- These are best enjoyed warm but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
