- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease.
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, sugar) in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine wet ingredients (egg, milk, melted butter, vanilla).
- Mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
- Prepare the cinnamon filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, add cinnamon filling, and top with more batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare frosting by whisking powdered sugar and milk.
- Frost cooled muffins and enjoy!
