- 2 cups cinnamon roll dough (from a tube or homemade)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (optional, for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or using liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Cut the cinnamon roll dough into small pieces and gently fold them into the egg mixture, ensuring everything is coated.
- If using cream cheese, cut it into small cubes and fold it into the dough mixture for a creamy surprise in the center.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the muffins are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Once done, allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before drizzling them with glaze.
