Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter with both sugars. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the batter.
- Top with the remaining batter and swirl it gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- For the icing, mix the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the blondies before cutting them into squares.
