Deliciously soft and gooey bars that bring the classic taste of cinnamon rolls in a fun, easy-to-eat format.

  • Total Time: 45

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup icing sugar (for drizzling)
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  • In another bowl, mix the brown sugar with ground cinnamon. This will be your filling.
  • Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it evenly. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.
  • Dollop the remaining batter over the cinnamon layer and gently spread it out. It’s okay if some of the filling peeks through!
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • While the bars cool, prepare the icing by mixing icing sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle it over the cooled bars before cutting them into squares.
