- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 medium tomato (diced)
- 1 small red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 jalapeño (seeds removed and minced (optional))
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 1 lime juice
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
Instructions
- Start by slicing the avocados in half and removing the pits. Spoon the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Using a fork, mash the avocados to your desired consistency. I prefer mine a bit chunky for that rustic feel!
- Add the diced tomato, chopped onion, minced jalapeño, and cilantro to the bowl.
- Pour in the lime juice, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix everything together gently.
- Give it a taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Sometimes, a little more salt or lime juice can make all the difference.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or your favorite dippers!
