  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grate the zucchini and squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, then fold in zucchini and chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
