- 1 package chocolate-covered wafer cookies (about 10 oz)
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 ounces milk chocolate (chopped)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- Layer a single row of chocolate-covered wafer cookies at the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the caramel sauce over the wafers, spreading it evenly.
- Melt the chopped milk chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
- Lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
