Deliciously easy chocolate caramel wafer crunch bars made with layers of wafer cookies, caramel, and milk chocolate.

  • 1 package chocolate-covered wafer cookies (about 10 oz)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 ounces milk chocolate (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Layer a single row of chocolate-covered wafer cookies at the bottom of the dish.
  • Pour the caramel sauce over the wafers, spreading it evenly.
  • Melt the chopped milk chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
