- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (diced)
- 1 cup diced ham (or turkey)
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (or Gruyère)
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, diced chicken, diced ham, Swiss cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- If desired, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the rice bake.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the dish is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
