Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl; mix in butter until crumbly. Stir in ice water until dough forms.
  2. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Mix sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and roll out chilled dough into a rectangle.
  5. Cut dough into rectangles, fill with apple mixture, fold, and seal edges.
  6. Place on a baking sheet, brush with egg, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
