Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your muffin pan with liners or cooking spray.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, whisk wet ingredients: milk, vegetable oil, and egg.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the chopped cherries.
  7. Distribute batter into the muffin pan, filling each cup two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
  9. Allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
