  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer half of the ravioli, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese, finishing with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
