- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the ravioli, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese, finishing with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
