  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Break it apart as it cooks, which takes about 5-7 minutes.
  • Once the beef is browned, drain any excess fat. Add the beef broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce to the pot.
  • Stir in the elbow macaroni along with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  • If you’re adding veggies, stir them in now, and let them warm through for a few minutes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious homemade cheeseburger macaroni!
