  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or any shape you like)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: diced pickles, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the cooked pasta, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, and add your favorite toppings, like pickles or ketchup.
