Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup garlic, minced (about 10 cloves)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
- Lemon zest (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- Start by cooking the rotini pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to salt your water well for extra flavor. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Watch it closely to prevent burning.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter. Stir frequently for about 5-7 minutes until the garlic turns golden brown and fragrant.
- Once the garlic is caramelized, add the cooked rotini to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the garlic butter.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste. If you’re feeling fancy, add some lemon zest.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
