- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith works great)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing the pan)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place them in the greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the diced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls in the dish.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple and cinnamon roll mixture.
- If using nuts, sprinkle them on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with icing from the cinnamon roll package.
