- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound of smoked sausage, sliced (Andouille is great!)
- 12 ounces of fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine in salted water until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, sauté sliced sausage in olive oil until browned.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until softened.
- Add shrimp and seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink.
- Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth; simmer until thickened.
- Toss cooked fettuccine with the sauce in the skillet.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
