  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lemon Juice (optional)
  • to taste Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Start by preparing the shrimp. If they’re frozen, make sure to thaw them thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Once the shrimp are nearly cooked, drizzle honey over them, stirring to coat evenly. Let it simmer for another minute.
  • If desired, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp before serving. This adds a bright flavor that complements the dish!
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, and enjoy!
