  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Optional: protein of choice (chicken, shrimp, sausage)

Instructions

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine with garlic. Heat through and mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, adjusting to taste.
  • Add cooked bowtie pasta and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • If using protein, add it now and heat through.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
