- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Optional: protein of choice (chicken, shrimp, sausage)
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine with garlic. Heat through and mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, adjusting to taste.
- Add cooked bowtie pasta and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- If using protein, add it now and heat through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
