Tender chicken thighs coated in a sweet and savory brown sugar maple glaze. Perfect for family dinners!

  • Total Time: 50

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. This will be your glaze.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them, ensuring they're well coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The skin should be crispy and caramelized.
  • Halfway through cooking, spoon some of the glaze over the chicken to enhance the flavor.
  • Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute.
