Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- to taste salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. This will be your glaze.
- Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them, ensuring they're well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The skin should be crispy and caramelized.
- Halfway through cooking, spoon some of the glaze over the chicken to enhance the flavor.
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute.
