- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Start by browning the butter. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring frequently until golden brown.

- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
