- 1 French baguette
- 8 oz Brie cheese (sliced)
- 1 large apple (thinly sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp))
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the baguette into about 1/2 inch thick pieces.
- Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- On each slice, layer a slice of Brie cheese followed by a slice of apple.
- Drizzle a bit of honey over the top and sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, just until the cheese begins to melt.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
