- 4 large croissants
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your preferred choice)
- 4 slices cooked bacon or sausage patties
- 1/4 cup milk

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures your croissants will bake perfectly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined. You want it nice and fluffy!
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Scramble the egg mixture until just set, about 3-5 minutes.
- While the eggs are cooking, slice the croissants in half lengthwise. If you like, you can toast them lightly to add a bit of crunch.
- Once the eggs are cooked, layer the cooked bacon or sausage on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Top the meat with a generous portion of scrambled eggs, followed by the shredded cheese.
- Cover with the top halves of the croissants, then transfer them to a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- While the melts are baking, prepare the honey butter by mixing the softened butter and honey in a bowl until smooth.
- Once the melts are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle with honey butter. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired!
