- 1 lb white fish (tilapia, cod, or mahi-mahi)
- 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 lime (juiced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 lime (juiced and zested)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
- Pat the fish dry with paper towels.
- Rub the blackening seasoning all over the fish.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and place the fish in.
- Cook the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Mix the lime crema ingredients in a bowl.
- Remove the fish from the skillet and let it rest.
- Warm the corn tortillas in the skillet.
- Assemble the tacos with cabbage, fish, and lime crema.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
