  • 1 lb white fish (tilapia, cod, or mahi-mahi)
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 lime (juiced and zested)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Pat the fish dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the blackening seasoning all over the fish.
  • Add olive oil to the skillet and place the fish in.
  • Cook the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Mix the lime crema ingredients in a bowl.
  • Remove the fish from the skillet and let it rest.
  • Warm the corn tortillas in the skillet.
  • Assemble the tacos with cabbage, fish, and lime crema.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
