- 1 batch Brownies (homemade or store-bought, cut into squares.)
- 2 cups Whipped cream (homemade or store-bought.)
- 1 cup Cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries.)
- 1 cup Chocolate shavings (for garnish.)
- 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
- If you’re making brownies from scratch, bake them according to the recipe or package instructions. Let them cool completely before cutting them into small squares.
- In a medium bowl, combine the whipped cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
- In a large trifle dish or individual cups, start by adding a layer of brownie pieces at the bottom. Follow with a layer of whipped cream, then a layer of cherry pie filling.
- Continue layering until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
- Sprinkle chocolate shavings over the top for a beautiful finish. You can also add a few cherries for extra flair!
- Let the trifle chill in the fridge for at least one hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld perfectly.
