- 1 pound beef (sirloin or flank steak, sliced thinly)
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced or grated)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for stir-frying)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
Instructions
- Start by slicing your beef thinly against the grain.
- Mix the beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Stir-fry the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, stirring for 30 seconds.
- Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Return the beef to the pan, add oyster sauce, and stir to combine.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
