  • Total Time: 25

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Start by marinating the flank steak in soy sauce and cornstarch for about 10 minutes. This helps tenderize the meat and adds flavor.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil.
  • Add the broccoli, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Return the beef to the pan, pour in the remaining soy sauce, and drizzle in sesame oil. Stir-fry together for another minute.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions over rice or noodles.
