Delicious and colorful BBQ steak and vegetable kabobs, perfect for grilling season!

  • Total Time: 42

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 bell peppers ((red and yellow), cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 medium zucchini (sliced into thick rounds)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  • Add the cubed steak to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. This step is crucial for flavor!
  • While the steak marinates, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Thread the steak and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between the steak and the veggies for a colorful presentation.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure it’s hot enough to give your kabobs that beautiful char.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the veggies are tender.
  • Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy!
