  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 packet (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sliced bananas
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping
  • Optional: crushed vanilla wafers for garnish

Instructions

  • Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the banana pudding mix, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal and sliced bananas until coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
  • Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes or refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Once set, cut into squares and top with whipped cream and crushed vanilla wafers if desired.
