Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the marinated steak on a grill or skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, and Gorgonzola cheese.
  5. Slice the steak against the grain and top the salad with it, drizzling leftover dressing if desired.
