A comforting dish perfect for family gatherings, loaded with layers of ravioli, marinara sauce, and cheese.

  • 2 (9 oz) packages frozen cheese ravioli
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and Italian herbs. Mix well.
  • Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli and top with another cup of marinara sauce.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
