- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- 1 cup of BBQ sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Flatten the chicken breasts and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble it.
- Mix crumbled bacon, cheese, and half of the BBQ sauce in a bowl.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the filling and secure edges with toothpicks if needed.
- Grill the chicken on medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes on each side, brushing with remaining BBQ sauce.
- Check internal temperature (165°F/75°C), then let it rest before serving.
Notes
- Use a meat mallet for even flattening of chicken.
- Feel free to add other spices to the chicken seasoning.
