A delicious and easy breakfast that tastes just like apple pie! Perfect for meal prep and busy mornings.

  • Total Time: 10

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 medium apple, diced
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
  • Add the diced apple and Greek yogurt, if using. Mix everything until the oats are fully coated.
  • Fold in the chopped nuts and chia seeds if you’re using them.
  • Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
  • In the morning, give your oats a good stir. You can add more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
