Meet Jenny

Hey there! I’m Jenny. I’m a wife, mom, and the passionate creator and food lover behind Recipes Cookery.

Take the time to understand what your palate enjoys

Cooking and baking are activities I deeply cherish, especially when shared with family and friends. It becomes even more meaningful when my 6-year-old son steps into the kitchen to help, transforming our cooking sessions into bonding moments.

Residing in New Jersey, I find inspiration in the seasonal changes and the distinct flavors they introduce. I take pleasure in blending traditional recipes inherited from my mother with contemporary culinary trends spotted on social media, thereby bridging the gap between heritage and modernity in my culinary creations.

Holidays hold a particular significance for me, as I delight in crafting dishes and sweets that celebrate the spirit of occasions like Christmas, Halloween, and the 4th of July. These times allow me to create unforgettable experiences through food, marking each holiday with its unique taste and joy.

My recipe philosophy

I’m passionate about offering recipes that are easy to follow and accessible to everyone. Whether you’ve been cooking for years or are just starting to explore the kitchen, I firmly believe that your culinary journey should be enjoyable and free of hassle.

At Recipes Cookery, you’ll discover recipes that are perfect for families, featuring readily available ingredients, clear instructions step by step, and practical advice and insights from my own cooking experiences to help you achieve perfect results with every meal.

While I treasure the process of making meals from scratch, I also understand the importance of shortcuts for those with hectic schedules. Whether it’s preparing a quick batch of lemon cake mix cookies or using a can of cream of chicken soup to make dinner easier, my recipes often include clever hacks to save you time while still delivering delicious flavors, ensuring you don’t have to spend more time than necessary in the kitchen.

My blogging journey

Beginning as a leisure activity in 2011, my journey into food blogging became a full-time endeavor in 2017, coinciding with the arrival of my son. My experience in education has instilled in me a deep appreciation for meticulousness and the joy of disseminating knowledge.

As time has progressed, I find myself in a position of gratitude for being able to share my culinary passion with over half a million monthly visitors and a vibrant online community of more than 850,000 followers. My work has gained recognition in well-known outlets such as Reader’s Digest, Country Living, Parade, MSN, Taste of Home, and Buzzfeed. It fills me with thankfulness every day to have transformed my hobby into a thriving career.
