Instructions
- Rinse and soak the black sticky rice for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain and steam the rice in a cheesecloth-lined steamer for about 30 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt; heat until sugar dissolves without boiling, reserving ½ cup of the sauce.
- Mix the cooked rice with the remaining coconut sauce and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, drizzled with reserved coconut sauce and topped with sesame seeds or mango slices.
