  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water for 10-15 seconds until softened.
  3. Place beef mixture and basil leaves on the lower third of the wrapper, fold sides, and roll tightly.
  4. Fry rolls in hot vegetable oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce.
