- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes, and drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stir the cooked meat into the sauce mixture and fold in optional mixed vegetables.
- Spread the meat mixture in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and top with tater tots.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
