Instructions
- Preheat the oven and bake tater tots until golden brown and crispy (about 25 minutes).
- In a skillet, brown the breakfast sausage over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces (5-7 minutes).
- Sprinkle flour over the browned sausage, stir, and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, stirring to prevent lumps, and simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes), seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Layer the crispy tater tots in a bowl and pour the sausage gravy over the top. Optionally, garnish with shredded cheese and green onions.
