Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté chopped onions until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cool sautéed onions briefly, then mix them into the creamy cheese mixture.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), transfer dip to a baking dish, and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
