Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic to create the marinade.
- Place salmon fillets skin side down on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper; pour half of the marinade over them.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Brush the remaining marinade on the salmon about 5 minutes before it’s done cooking.
- Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Ensure the salmon is not overcooked to keep it moist and tender.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the marinade by modifying the amount of maple syrup.
