Spicy Rattlesnake Pasta is a creamy, flavorful dish featuring shrimp and a kick of Cajun spices.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of linguine or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain, and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil, sauté garlic, then add shrimp and cook until pink.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and diced tomatoes, add Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add drained pasta to the skillet, toss with sauce, and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve in bowls, garnished with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
