Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and boil sweet potatoes until tender, then mash until smooth.
- Combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, vanilla, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust placed in a 9-inch pie dish.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and set.
- Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving warm, optionally with whipped cream.
