- 2 lobsters (about 1.5 pounds each)
- 2 dozen clams (littleneck or cherrystone)
- 4 ears of corn, husked and cut in half
- 1 pound of baby potatoes, washed
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
- 2 lemons, quartered
- Fresh herbs (such as thyme and parsley)
- Old Bay seasoning (to taste)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook lobsters for 8–10 minutes until bright red, then cool.
- Rinse clams under cold water to remove sand.
- In the same pot, boil baby potatoes for 10 minutes, then add corn and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Add clams and lobsters to the pot with Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, butter, and lemon wedges; cover and steam for 15–20 minutes.
- Serve on a platter or newspaper-covered table for guests to enjoy.
