Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients with the buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
