To make this delicious Sour Cream Noodle Bake, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Boil salted water, add egg noodles, and cook until al dente. Drain.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, mix cooked noodles, meat, sour cream, soup, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Layer half the noodle mixture in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with half the cheese, add the remaining mixture, then top with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Let cool before serving.
