To make this delicious Sour Cream Noodle Bake, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water, add egg noodles, and cook until al dente. Drain.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, mix cooked noodles, meat, sour cream, soup, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Layer half the noodle mixture in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with half the cheese, add the remaining mixture, then top with the rest of the cheese.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Let cool before serving.
