Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, season pork chops, and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Sauté chopped onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
  4. In a baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, sautéed onions and garlic, and seared pork chops until all ingredients are used.
  5. Pour heavy cream over the layers and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
