Ingredients

- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, season pork chops, and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Sauté chopped onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
- In a baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, sautéed onions and garlic, and seared pork chops until all ingredients are used.
- Pour heavy cream over the layers and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs for extra flavor.
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
