- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup smoky BBQ sauce
- 4 flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce.
- Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Spoon BBQ chicken mixture onto flatbreads and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Add sliced red onion and chopped cilantro as toppings.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Cool slightly, slice into wedges, and serve warm.
Notes
- Leftover chicken works great for this recipe.
