Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of chicken thighs (boneless and skinless)
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of cold water
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken and cover with lid.
  4. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch and water 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Shred chicken and serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
